Every language in every culture has a way to say "thank you". Pawfessor Vedder teaches us the importance of choosing to live a life of gratitude. Being grateful is not only a spontaneous feeling that emerges from within, it is also a choice we make. When we practice being grateful every day, we keep our hearts open regardless of what comes our way. Choosing to find something to be grateful for in any situation is the root of all happiness.
When Vedder was at the animal shelter he was sick, skinny, and scared but he still found a way to be thankful for every little gift. Gifts like a scratch behind his ear, a belly rub, a crunchy treat, or a soft blanket filled his heart with GRATITUDE. He didn't compare himself to other dogs, he didn't look to see if they got more food in their bowl or listen to hear if they got a crunchier treat. He was happy and grateful for what he was given and because of his APPRECIATION, he was able to be happy even in the most dire of situations.
Vedder is now happy in his forever home with pittypawfessors founder Lisa & Lucky and is still grateful every single day. He has taught us so much about living in Gratitude and we hope he can teach you all too.
Vedder doesn't need expensive toys to be happy, he appreciates all gifts.
