Doggie Biography
LALO & LYLA teach about global citizenship, the importance of welcoming new students, and learning to connect and communicate to someone who speaks a different language or uses alternative communication.
Their Dad, Alan, tells his story of what it felt like to be the new kid and learning English as his second language. He fondly remembers the kids that invited him to sit with them and asked him to join them to play sports. His best friend today is a kid he met in 2nd grade, they were friends even before they even spoke the same language because the language of kindness is universal.
